Astroseer

Terms

The short version: this is an oracle, not a professional. Use it thoughtfully.

What you're buying

A one-year license to Astroseer. The basic tier gives you fifty readings across the year. The "walk further" tier gives you unlimited readings for the year. Both renew annually through Gumroad; you can cancel any time from your Gumroad account and the year you paid for stays yours.

What Astroseer is (and is not)

Astroseer is a divination tool built on James Roderick Gross's 1978 Astro-Dice booklet, generated by Anthropic's Claude and delivered as reflective text. It is a mirror for your own thinking, not a source of truth.

It is not medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, mental-health treatment, crisis support, or a substitute for a licensed professional. If a question touches those areas, take it to someone qualified. If you are in crisis, please reach out to a local emergency service.

Age

You should be at least 18 to use Astroseer.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Gumroad under their standard policy. If the app failed for a reason on our side and you didn't get the readings you paid for, email [email protected] and we'll make it right.

Uptime

We try to keep Astroseer available. Sometimes it will be down for maintenance, or because one of the services it depends on (Cloudflare, Anthropic, Google) is having a bad hour. We don't promise perfect uptime and we're not liable for readings you couldn't get during those hours; if it's meaningfully long we'll extend your year.

What you can do

Ask the cosmos anything. Screenshot readings. Share them. Print them and paste them into your journal. Discuss them with a friend.

What you can't do

Scrape the app, resell readings as your own service, share your license key with a group, or use Astroseer to harass or harm anyone.

Changes

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, the date below moves and — if it affects what you're paying for — we'll tell you before your next renewal.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator resides. Disputes we can't resolve by email are handled there.
